Downsizing from 2000 sq feet to 960 square feet has been a task. After months and months of reviewing, scouring the internet, weighing out all of our options; we decided the most natural, sustainable, long lasting and earth friendly option we could make was a log home. We reviewed kits and companies, and compared pricing. We decided on a company and then needed to pick a floor plan. We selected the most utilitarian floor plan we could keeping in mind that we are also running our business and our non-profit from this location. We need warehousing space, photo and video studio, office, plus living quarters! We finally settled on a 2 bedroom, 1 bath plus utility room and sleeping loft set up.
